为什么叫"韵和鸣"：三个字里的三重境界

"韵"，说的是单项非遗。

每一门手艺都有它自己的"韵"——不是表面的好看，而是它运转的节奏。

漆艺的韵，在"等"。一层漆涂上去，要进阴房慢慢结膜，急不得。竹编的韵，在"匀"。篾片劈得匀，编出来才平。绣的韵，在一针一线的疏密之间。

"韵"这个字，提醒我们：手艺的分量，藏在它的节拍里。你看不见它，但一旦被打乱，整件器物就散了。

"和"，说的是多元。

"He" speaks of plurality.

"韵和鸣"整合了六大非遗矩阵——漆、竹、绣、银、锦、瓷。这六门手艺，来自不同的地方、不同的世代，本来各说各话。

把它们放在一起，不是为了凑成一个好看的组合。

而是因为中国的器物审美里，一直有一种"和"的能力：漆的深沉，配竹的清瘦；银的冷，衬绣的暖；锦的繁，压瓷的素。彼此不抢，反而把各自的长处托出来。

"和"不是没有差别，而是承认差别之后，还能站在一起。

"鸣"，说的是一件更远的事。

手艺如果只在小圈子里流转，它就会越来越小。"鸣"，是要让它被听见——不只是被中国人听见，而是让中国非遗在世界鸣响。

这几年，平遥推光漆器已经作为文化使者走出去：有作品被赠予外国元首，也有器物作为伴手礼走进各国使馆，让东方匠心在国际场合出现。

一件器物能不能被看懂，取决于它有没有被讲清楚。所以我们把"内容赋能匠人"当成主张之一：写得准、说得清，手艺才有机会走远。

韵，是对技艺的尊重；和，是对多元的包容；鸣，是对世界的邀请。

三个字连起来，其实就是我们一直在做的三件事：把手艺讲准，把多种手艺放在一起，再把它们带到更远的地方。

这也是"非遗出海"这四个字的落点——出海不是把东西运出去，而是让它被理解。

"Yun" speaks of a single item of ICH.

Every craft has its own "yun" — not surface prettiness but the rhythm by which it works.

The yun of lacquer lies in "waiting." Once a coat of lacquer is applied, it must enter the drying room to film over slowly — it cannot be hurried. The yun of bamboo weaving lies in "evenness." Only evenly split strips weave flat. The yun of embroidery lies in the density of stitch after stitch.

The character "yun" reminds us: a craft's weight hides in its tempo. You cannot see it, but once it is disrupted, the whole object falls apart.

"YUNHEMING" brings together six ICH matrices — lacquer, bamboo, embroidery, silver, brocade, and porcelain. These six crafts come from different places and different generations, each originally speaking its own language.

Putting them together is not to make up a pleasing combination.

It is because Chinese aesthetics of objects has always held a capacity for "he": the depth of lacquer set against the leanness of bamboo; the coldness of silver setting off the warmth of embroidery; the richness of brocade weighing down the plainness of porcelain. They do not compete but rather lift each other's strengths into view.

"He" is not the absence of difference but the ability to stand together after acknowledging it.

"Ming" speaks of a farther thing.

A craft that circulates only in a small circle will grow ever smaller. "Ming" is to make it heard — not only by Chinese ears, but to let China's ICH resound in the world.

In recent years, Pingyao polished lacquerware has already gone out as a cultural envoy: some works have been presented to foreign heads of state, and objects have reached embassies as gifts, letting Eastern craftsmanship appear on the international stage.

Whether an object can be understood depends on whether it has been explained clearly. So we make "empowering artisans through content" one of our propositions: only when it is written accurately and told clearly does a craft have a chance to travel far.

Yun is respect for skill; he is tolerance for plurality; ming is an invitation to the world.

Joined together, the three characters are simply the three things we have always done: tell craft accurately, place many crafts together, and carry them farther still.

This is where the words "ICH going global" come to rest — going global is not shipping things out but letting them be understood.
